Plastic Chemical Feeder - Rotational Molding Services

Chemical feeders prepare and automatically dispense the chlorine that’s used to disinfect municipal and large commercial water systems. Gregstrom took this project from concept and design through manufacturing, assembly and testing, and shipping of the finished product.

Plastic chemical feeder manufacturing can be complex. This chemical feeder mixes and automatically dispenses the disinfecting chlorine that’s used in municipal and large commercial water systems. Gregstrom created this integrated unit from six rotomolded parts, one vacuum formed part, and 160 other components. All of the wetted components are made from NSF approved materials.

Plastic Chemical Feeder

Gregstrom is more than a custom rotomolder. With the chemical feeder, we purchase, test, and assemble all of the injection molded, blow molded, electrical, and plumbing components. Testing is performed to plumbing and electrical safety standards. Our assembly services provides a cost-effective alternative to shipping individual parts. For a plastic chemical feeder that meets all of your requirements, count on Gregstrom.

The chemical feeder’s rotomolded lid and hopper incorporate molded-in graphics. The plastic hopper holds 220 pounds of chlorine briquettes. The plastic base holds 32 gallons of the chlorine solution. Both the hopper and the base are rotationally molded in LLDPE plastic as double-wall containers. This chemical feeder also includes a specially designed, rotationally molded pallet that holds the hopper and base mixing unit, the pump, and all of the plumbing and electronics controls. The rotomolded pallet attaches through molded-in inserts and allows for the easy moving of the entire unit.
